Governance - UPDATED

9 April 2024

Whilst the Happisburgh Parish Council adopted the Coastal Research Group in 2023 as a working group for the council and provide for its governance, this has now changed.

The group has changed its name to Community Coastal Research Group and is now an Unincorporated Association an organisation set up through an agreement between a group of people who come together for a reason other than to make a profit. Our reason is to promote achievable and affordable solutions to slow the erosion at Happisburgh and find solutions to help our community with the various problems that face rural coastal villages.

The CCRG will still report to the council at each meeting. This is a very welcome synergy to provide formal representation for Happisburgh and the CCRG with the environmental issues that face the village.
